WHAT A DEPOSIT DOES

A deposit may be used to reserve a vehicle and remove it from sale for a short period. A deposit does not transfer ownership.

IF YOU PROCEED

Your deposit is credited toward the purchase price, and the vehicle is released once payment is completed (or finance completes) and any agreed delivery fee is paid.

IF YOU CANCEL OR DON’T COMPLETE

If you cancel or don’t complete outside any statutory rights, we may retain an amount only to the extent it reasonably reflects our direct losses caused by the cancellation/non-completion (and we’ll take reasonable steps to reduce loss by remarketing the vehicle).

IF YOUR PURCHASE IS A DISTANCE SALE

If you buy at a distance as a consumer, separate cancellation rights may apply under the Consumer Contracts Regulations — those steps are set out in the Distance Sale document you receive in your sales pack.

WHERE THE FULL DETAIL IS

Your sales pack contains the reservation/deposit terms applicable to your deal.
